Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bids endorsed “TASER X2” will be received by the City of Birmingham, Michigan at the Office of City Clerk, 151 Martin Street, P.O. Box 3001, Birmingham, MI, 48012 until Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids from qualified vendors must include pricing for the purchase of (31) TASER X2 Electronic Control Devices, (31) 4-year extended warranties for the X2 ECDs, (31) Bladetech holsters, (31) Tactical Performance Power Magazines, (150) 15’ Live Smart Cartridges, (75) 25’ Live Smart Cartridges, and (1) X2/X26P Dataport download kit. All proposals must include trade in credit for (31) TASER X26 units, total shipping costs and estimated delivery date. Materials and bids shall be submitted in accordance with the attached specifications and bid forms prepared by the Birmingham Police Department. Specifications are available exclusively via the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN).* Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “TASER X2”. The date and time of the bid opening must be marked on the envelope. The City of Birmingham reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularity in a bid when deemed in the best interest of the City. The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until a written purchase order has been delivered to the successful bidder.
