Description

The project will include installation new traffic signals located at four intersections in the City of Birmingham: Southfield Road & W. Brown Street, Willits Street & Bates Street, E. Maple Road & Poppleton/Elm, and E. Maple Road & Adams Road. The traffic signals consist of a combination of Category III mast-arm poles, pedestrian signal pedestals, hand-holes, and controller cabinets, along with associated appurtenances. The project also includes associated removal and construction of pavements, curbs, sidewalks, and sidewalk ramps at each intersection.

Sealed proposals endorsed “TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATIONS PROJECT CONTRACT #13-24(T)”
will be received from contractors by the City of Birmingham, at the office of the City Clerk, located at 151 Martin Street, Birmingham, Michigan, until 3:00 p.m. local time, on Thursday, April 25th, 2024. The proposals will be opened and publicly read aloud at that time. Bids submitted after the exact time specified for receipt will not be considered.

In order to provide the City of Birmingham with Contractors and Subcontractors who will carry out the work in a timely and satisfactory manner, a fully completed Sworn Statement of Qualifications must be submitted to the Engineering Department of the City of Birmingham prior to the bid opening.
