REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS For Outside Wall and Window Restoration at City of Birmingham Sealed proposals endorsed “Wall & Windows Restoration”, will be received at the Office of the City Clerk,151 Martin Street, PO Box 3001, Birmingham, Michigan, 48012; until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday September 21, 2011, after which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Bidders will be required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Wednesday September 7, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the Baldwin Public Library. Bidders must register for the pre-bid meeting by Tuesday September 6, 2011 by contacting Carlos Jorge at (248) 530-1882. The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified professional firms to furnish all materials and necessary equipment and perform all required work necessary to restore an outside wall and window at the Baldwin Public Library Building. This work must be performed as specified accordance with the specifications contained in the Request For Proposals (RFP). The RFP, including the Specifications, may be obtained online from the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network at http://www.mitn.info or at the City of Birmingham Maintenance Department, 151 Martin St., Birmingham, Michigan. The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an agreement has been executed.
