RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS
Sealed bids for Road Rehabilitation are invited and will be received by the City of Burton, a Michigan Governmental Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the Owner), at Burton City Hall, 4303 S. Center Rd., Burton, Michigan, not later than 10:00 a.m. local time on March 31, 2025. Immediately thereafter all the bids received will be publicly opened and total prices read aloud in the Council Chambers. A copy of all Specifications and Contract Documents are on file for inspection at City of Burton Purchasing Department, 4303 S. Center Road, Burton, MI, alternatively available via electronic option can be requested by sending an email to: j.griffith@burtonmi.gov or p.wingblad@burtonmi.gov. Any bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Bids are solicited under a general contract for the following approximate quantities of work:

5,400 TON HMA 4EML
4,700 FT PAVT JOINT AND CRACK REPAIR
1,430 FT CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER REMOVE AND REPLACE
51 EA DR COVER, ADJ
375 TON HAND PATCHING
50 EA DR STRUCTURE, CLEANING
Work may also include associated items such as Traffic Regulator, Excavation Earth, Aggregate Base, Turf Restoration, Pavement Markings and associated work.
