Summary of Specifications:
The city of Cadillac seeks the services of a qualified market consultant to conduct a market study with an implementation plan for the area’s industrial, retail, and tourism sectors. There is a need to identify and understand the feasibility of specific business opportunities in order to build upon Cadillac’s strengths in those three sectors. The study must generate relevant market data and investment recommendations for the city of Cadillac’s primary retail trade area as well as Wexford County as a whole. The study shall identify workable options for creating a mix of industrial, retail, and tourism businesses that would provide additional job options for residents of the Cadillac area and Wexford County; address unmet consumer needs for goods and services; expand the area’s tourism base; and, contribute to the existing diversity and economic vibrancy of the Cadillac area. The project seeks a plan that will identify solid market opportunities for the Cadillac area and realistic ways in which to bring those opportunities to fruition.
