ITB-OR-2013-19 - Combination Sewer Cleaner and Vacuum Truck

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cadillac is accepting bids for the purchase of one (1) new 2013 or 2014-model combination sewer cleaner and vacuum truck. Detailed specifications are included as Appendix A of the Invitation to Bid packet. The specification sheet must be completed, signed, and included with the submission of the bid. Any deviations from required specifications must be detailed and attached to the completed specification sheet. 

It is the intent of this specification to provide for the purchase of one (1) new and unused high pressure sewer and vacuum manhole cleaner to be used for removing sand, stones, bottles, cans, sludge and other debris from wet wells, sanitary sewer lines, catch basins and/or manholes from a front mounted operating station. The unit shall have a positive displacement air blower, a hydraulically driven high pressure water pump, self-contained water supply, and an enclosed 15 cubic yard debris body for storage of the collected debris. The system shall have a capability of operating both vacuum and jet rodder simultaneously at rated operating pressure.
