Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cadillac is inviting bids for the rehabilitation/reconstruction of twenty-five (25) sanitary sewer manholes. The first half of the rehabilitation (Manhole #’s 1-12) to be completed before July 1, 2017 with remainder (#13-25) to begin after July 1, 2017. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials as specified to install a product with tensile strength of at least 6500 to form a uniform, structural polyuria, polyurethane, epoxy lining wall to twenty-five (25) existing sanitary sewer manholes. This lining shall restore the structural integrity of the manholes and provide protection against corrosion. On-site inspection of each manhole to be rehabilitated is a requirement. Please contact the City to schedule an appointment prior to May 5, 2017 or bid may not be considered.
The Contractor shall also furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials as specified to complete the manhole chimney and/or bench and invert work, of varied depths, to the twenty-five (25) sanitary sewer manholes identified in this Invitation to Bid (ITB) document.
The Contractor shall comply with applicable specifications listed below. The Contractor shall note to supply necessary resources to remove existing debris from all manhole bottom areas prior to commencing work.
All work shall be performed in strict accordance with City, State, and MiOSHA standards for confined space entry procedures, and other safety regulations.
