The City of Cadillac is inviting bids Municipal Water Supply Well Drilling. The principal items of work consist of the construction of two (2) new, 16” diameter by 300-foot deep municipal test production water wells with screen and gravel pack, and two observation wells. Also included are miscellaneous items of appurtenant work as detailed in the bid documents. Contract documents and detailed specifications may be obtained from the office of the project engineer: C2AE, 123 West Main Street, Suite 200, Gaylord, MI 49735 at a nonrefundable cost of $35.00 (thirty-five dollars) per set of plans. An electronic copy of the complete specifications and plans may be obtained from C2AE by contacting Jody Laper by email at jody.laper@c2ae.com. The bid document is available at www.mitn.info or from the City Clerk’s Office, Cadillac Municipal Complex, 200 N. Lake Street, Cadillac, MI 49601 and must be reviewed prior to the submission of any bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond payable without condition to the City of Cadillac in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid amount. In addition, a satisfactory performance bond and labor and material bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required for the successful bidder.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Director of Finance, Municipal Complex, 200 N. Lake Street, Cadillac, Michigan 49601 and clearly marked “MUNICIPAL WATER SUPPLY WELL DRILLING” by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at which time they will be publicly opened in the council chambers of the Cadillac Municipal Complex.
