The City of Cadillac (“the City”) is inviting qualified engineering firms to submit Statements of Qualifications to provide professional engineering consulting services. Typical projects conducted by the City include asphalt and concrete road and alley rehabilitation and reconstruction projects, water transmission and sewer collection lines, water treatment facilities, storm sewer projects, recreational and public space facilities projects, parking lots, streetscapes, and various other projects. It is the City’s intent to review all responses with the goal of identifying the firm that will be most advantageous to the City for the provision of professional engineering services.
The successful firm will be required to enter into a multi-year contract with the City and provide proof of insurance coverage that is acceptable to the City. Contract terms will be mutually agreed upon between the City and the consultant. The contract period will be five (5) years, with an option to extend for an additional five-year period. The City makes no guarantee as to the quantity or dollar value of the work to be assigned to the consultant during the term of the contract.
