ITB-OR-2016-13 - Ultraviolet Lamps

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cadillac is seeking bids to replace 96 ultraviolet lamps, glass tubes, and wipers at the Cadillac Waste Water Treatment plant. 

The City currently uses ultraviolet lamps for disinfection at the plant. This system was initially installed in 2003 to replace a liquid chlorine disinfection process. Two 32-lamp racks were installed at that time, and a third 32-lamp rack was added in 2008. The city is seeking to replace the following consumable parts of the system. There may be several manufacturers whose parts will meet the City’s minimum requirements. These parts are differentiated by the design requirements unique to each manufacturer. Based upon these factors the City of Cadillac will outline basic requirements for the parts. Bidders are asked to submit bids and provide detailed information on the parts being bid.
