Cunningham Limp has been selected by the City of Dexter to act as their Construction Manager for modifications to the City Hall Offices at 3515 Broad St. Dexter, MI 48130. This work is a precursor
to the construction of a new Fire Station on Main St. in Dexter. Project involves first and second floor interior renovations to the east end of the existing City Hall complex and construction of a temporary, heated fire apparatus vehicle shelter.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Electronic bids shall be submitted to Alyssa Cook (acook@clc.build) and Scott Wheeler (swheeler@clc.build) no later than Wednesday, May 29, 2024 by 3:00pm.

All bids shall be quoted in accordance with the following:
• BID FORM: Subcontractor Bids to be submitted on their standard letterhead but accompanied with a completed copy of the Bid Trade Package Scope of Work to confirm the entire scope of work has been included. Include on your letterhead any Clarifications, Exceptions and Voluntary Alternates as necessary.
• SCHEDULE (PHASED CONSTRUCTION): Upon completion of phase 1 below, the Dexter
Area Fire Department will occupy the space during the time the existing station on Main St. is demolished and reconstructed.
o AWARD - WEEK OF 6/10/24.
o PHASE 1 FIELD START ~6/24/24.
o PHASE 1 COMPLETION ~8-23-24.
o PHASE 2 (Modify Room 106 – from Sleeping Quarters to Corridor with ramp once Fire
Dept. moves into their new station): ~January 2026.
• ALTERNATES: See Bid Trade Package
• UNIT PRICES: None (may be requested prior to award)
• BID TRADE PACKAGES: - SEE ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENT. Bids on Combination of packages are acceptable, but a breakdown should be provided for bookkeeping purposes.
• BID OPENING: Bids to be opened and evaluated privately by Cunningham Limp.
• LABOR / WAGES: Union and Non-Union trades / bids are acceptable. Prevailing wages not required.
• SALES & USE TAX: Required.
• BID BOND: Not Required.
