Summary of Specifications:
Sealed Bids for Hudson Street Reconstruction will be received at the office of the City of Dexter until 2:00 P.M. local time, on June 2, 2017, by the office of the City Manager located at 8123 Main Street, Dexter, MI 48130. The approximate work involved is as follows:
Reconstruction of approximately 0.25 miles of Hudson road with curb and gutter and 12 and 18 inch RCP storm sewer and minor sanitary and watermain improvements.
The Contract Documents for this project will be provided to bidders digitally and may be obtained by contacting the Engineer (Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc.). Contractors intending to bid must e-mail pat.droze@ohm-advisors.com to receive a digital copy of the plan and contract document. Bid Security in the form of a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond for a sum no less than Five Percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid.
The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in Bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of Ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project on May 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at the project site (Hudson Street and Grand Street).
