The East Lansing Downtown Management Board (DMB) is seeking the professional services of a facilitator to guide and assist the board with developing a Strategic Priorities Five Year Plan.
The DMB is interested in working with a facilitator to reach consensus of the strategic priorities, goals and objectives. The board envisions a facilitated process that will take place over two or three sessions, (2-4 hours each) beginning in July 2025, with the full board. The consultant’s experience with other organizational models and best practices will be critical to informing session design. However, the DMB and city staff will work closely with the selected consultant in designing sessions that are relevant and effective in developing a plan. Following the conclusion of the final meeting with the Board, a detailed plan outlining the strategic priorities, goals and objectives, shall be provided to the DMB within 21 days. A presentation on the results of the plan shall be presented at the DMB October 9, 2025, board meeting. This is the anticipated schedule and may change due to availability of the full board.
