Description

Summary of Specifications:
The conveyor shall be used to load sand and/or salt into an existing storage dome. It shall have a capacity of 200 tons/hour as calculated in conformance with the CEMA publication “Belt Conveyors for Bulk Materials”. For the purposes of this specification, salt is defined being free flowing and having a bulk density of 80 PCF with an angle of repose of 32 degrees. Sand shall be defined as having a bulk density of 110 PCF with an angle of repose of 32 degrees.
