RFP-fh-09-10-1538 - 8 MILE & ST. FRANCIS AVENUE WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Summary of Specifications:
This project consists of the installation of approximately 1300’ of replacement water main on the north side of Eight Mile Road from Inkster to Colwell and approximately 3400’ of replacement water main along the west side of St. Francis Avenue from Eight Mile to Independence. The St. Francis Avenue portion of the project is being bid with two alternate methods of construction and material types. 

Approximate quantities are as follows: 8” D.I. CL54 Water Main, 820 LF, 12” D.I. CL54 Water Main 2630 LF, 10” HDPE (SDR 11 DIPS) Water Main, Directional Drill 1250 LF or, 8” D.I. CL54 Water Main 130 LF, 12” D.I. CL54 Water Main 110 LF, 10” HDPE (SDR 11 DIPS) Water Main,Directional Drill 1970 LF, 14” HDPE (SDR 11 DIPS) Water Main, Directional Drill 2570 LF - Plus miscellaneous items necessary for a completed project.
