Summary of Specifications:
Asphalt maintenance materials shall include Commercial Base (Leveling) and #1100-W topping (wearing) in accordance with the most recent Michigan Department of State Highways Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. While specifications require conformance with the most recent MDOT standards, the City will consider “commercial grade” products, which are reasonable equivalent (in judgment of the City), to State specifications for Asphalt Materials. However, bidder must indicate in the space provided below whether or not quoted materials meet MDOT specifications
