The City of Farmington Hills is renovating Harrison High School in to a new Community Center. The work will consist of the renovation and additions to Harrison High School located at 29995 Twelve Mile Road in Farmington Hills Michigan. The high school was built in 1970 and contains approximately 245,300 sq. ft. The main high school building has a total of three (3) floors. The first floor is approximately 82,000 s.f., the second floor is approximately 57,300 s.f. and the third floor is approximately 106,000 s.f. The scope of work will be comprised of supplying and installing all wiring & equipment required for a fully operational Emergency Responder Radio Coverage system (Radio Repeater system) and a Cellular DAS BDA.  The majority of the renovation of the building will are on the first and second levels with addition(s) to accommodate a new entry and lobby area. The major program spaces will include the renovation of the existing gymnasium, a new recreation center pool at the existing natatorium location and a renovated auditorium to meet community needs. The third-floor renovation scope and programing has yet to be determined depending on budget limitations, however the Emergency Responder Coverage System and Cellular DDS BDA will be required and access to the roof & supporting equipment room will be on the third floor. Contractors are invited to bid on either one of the projects (Emergency Responder Radio Coverage system or Cellular DAS BDA) or both projects.  The City reserves the right to award to one or more contractors.
