Summary of Specifications:
The City of Farmington Hills Fire Department is accepting bids to purchase a new Medic. The work consists of furnishing and delivering a fully assembled, operable ambulance in compliance with all specifications described herein. These specifications reference a specific makes and models in order to establish a minimum acceptable standard. Such references are not intended to eliminate any manufacturer from the bidding process. Compliance with the “spirit of the specification” is not acceptable. Deviations shall be clearly called out in writing and explained either next to the specification or in an attachment to the bidder’s submitted proposal. Failure to follow these instructions may constitute grounds for elimination of the bidder’s proposal from consideration. Deviations may be permitted if determined to be in the best interest of the City.
