Summary of Specifications:
This project consists of the installation of a replacement water main along the east side of Halsted Road at the I-696 Expressway. The project is being bid with two alternate methods of construction and material types for the portion of water main being installed under the expressway. Approximate quantities are as follows: 24” D.I. CL54 Water Main 55 EA 30” HDPE Water Main including Directional Drill 355 EA or 24” D.I. CL54 Water Main 70 EA 24” D.I. CL54 Water Main with 36” Casing 35 EA 24” D.I. CL54 Water Main including Jack and Bore with 36” Casing 305 EA Plus miscellaneous items necessary for a completed project.
