Summary of Specifications:
Materials provided shall be Transit Mix Concrete (also referred to as Ready Mix Concrete) and shall comply with the most recent Michigan Department of State Highways Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. Certification of concrete material specified may be required prior to bid opening. Specifications call for concrete containing six (6), seven (7) and nine (9) sacks of Portland Cement concrete, per cubic yard. The specific concrete mix shall be indicated by the DPW Supervisor when placing an order.
