RFP-DD-2 - Multi-Modal Plan Development

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Ferndale, Michigan, is seeking a consultant to develop a citywide multi-modal transportation plan. The plan will be used by the City to improve and expand opportunities for pedestrians, bicycles and transit users to respond to the growing demand for alternative forms of travel and to promote safe and comfortable transportation options. It will also be used to assist the City in routinely addressing these modes in all public infrastructure projects. This effort will also determine the long range demographic and transportation trends, and community needs and desires that will help define the recommendations of this Plan. It will also help determine the details of how the City can create meaningful transportation choices.
