The City of Garden City is accepting proposals for the
MAPLEWOOD CENTER AND MANOR PARK FENCING
in the City of Garden City, Wayne County, Michigan
The proposed project consists of the removal and installation of a heavy duty chain link fence around the perimeter of the soccer facilities at the Maplewood Center located at Maplewood Avenue and Craig Avenue (1,160 LFT) and the installation of a heavy duty chain link fence along the southerly boundary of Manor Park located at Hubbard Avenue and Manor Park Street (600 LFT). The anticipated start date, weather permitting, is November 4, 2019 and completed by November 22, 2019.

The Contract Documents may be examined at the City of Garden City Clerk’s Office, Garden City, Michigan, Hennessey Engineers, Inc., Southgate, Michigan, Construction Association of Michigan, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Construction Journal LTD, Stuart, Florida and CDC News Construction Journal, Vero Beach, Florida
Contract Documents will be available starting Friday, October 4, 2019 after 3:00pm and can be obtained electronically by contacting Ryan Kern at Hennessey Engineers, Inc. at 734-759-1600 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday. There is no cost to obtaining the contract documents.
Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of bid opened.
The Contractor shall be aware that per the City of Garden City Ordinance No. 91-001, no less than the prevailing salaries and wages noted in the General Wage Decision (Federal Wage Determination) must be paid on this Project.
