Summary of Specifications:
The City of Hamtramck is accepting proposals for the GOODSON AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION AND WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT WEST OF GALLAGHER AVENUE in the City of Hamtramck, Wayne County, Michigan.
The proposed project consists of the full depth reconstruction of an approximately 280 linear foot section of Goodson Avenue west of Gallagher Avenue as an asphalt street with concrete curb and gutter. This project also involves the replacement of existing water main with a new 8 inch water main.
The anticipated start date, weather permitting, is no later than September 15, 2015 and substantially completed by October 15, 2015 with final completion by October 31, 2015.

Contract Documents will be available for pick up starting Thursday, July 23, 2015 after 1:00pm and may be purchased at: Hennessey Engineers, Inc., 13500 Reeck Road, Southgate, Michigan, 48195 upon payment of a fee of $60.00 per set, $70.00 if mailed, which is nonrefundable. Please contact Hennessey Engineers at 734-759-1600, 24 hours in advance to request a hard copy. Also, plans are now available on CD for a fee of $15.00 per CD or if mailed, $20.00. Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 90 days after the date of bid opened.
