The proposed Sewer Relief Phase 1B Funding through the CWSRF Loan
Goodson Sewer Relief- A new relief sewer consisting of 1,671 linear feet of 60-inch
diameter relief sewer via open cut will be installed from the intersection of Lumpkin and
Goodson east to an existing stub in the diversion chamber at Joseph Campau and Goodson.
A 10-foot x 20-foot junction chamber will be installed over the existing Lumpkin sewer at
the intersection of Goodson and Lumpkin. Full-depth road reconstruction HMA surface
with a concrete curb, sidewalk, storm sewer, and water main relocation along Lumpkin
Street is part of this project to install the junction chamber.
Joseph Campau Sewer Relief - A new relief sewer consisting of 1,073 linear feet of 36-inch
relief sewer will be installed via an open cut along Joseph Campau from the existing junction
chamber at Goodson and Joseph Campau's intersection to the north, south of Lehman St. A
12-foot diameter junction chamber will be installed over the existing Joseph Campau
shallow ("high egg") sewer. Full-depth road reconstruction and sidewalk replacement will
be on the East side of Joseph Campau and a mill and replacement on the east side of Joseph
Campau. Water main relocation is part of this project in the area of the 12-foot diameter
junction chamber.
Goodson Water Main (Bid under a separate contract)
Funding through the DWSRF ARP Grant
A new 12-inch water main is to be installed via directional drill within the Goodson Right-ofway
from Joseph Campau to Lumpkin and includes hydrants, gate valves, and new service
lines from the main to the stop box and into the house 18 inches or to the meter. This work
will include the necessary pavement and sidewalk removal and replacement, and the
removal of the existing 8-inch water main outside of the 1:1 influence of the Relief Sewer.
This project will be bid as a separate contract under the SRF ARPA grant. This project will be
bid under a separate contract.
