Sealed proposals for 20-002 FRANKLIN STREET RECONSTRUCTION will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Agent, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan, TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 2020 until 9:00 AM.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
0.51 miles of water main replacement and street reconstruction with concrete curb and gutter replacement and full-depth pavement replacement with new aggregate base and HMA pavement on Franklin Street from Brown Street to West Avenue in the City of Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan. Major bid items include: Pavt, Rem, Modified - 10,401 syd, Sewer items - 649 ft, Water Main items - 3,255 ft, Lead service replacements - 48 each, Aggregate Base, 8 inch, 21AA, Modified - 10,937 syd, HMA, 13A - 3,718 ton, Sidewalk items - 10,739 sft, Concrete curb and gutter - 5,324 ft.

Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Street (A) and Watermain (I).
