Sealed proposals for 2020 CITY OWNED LOT MOWING; 2020 H4HH LOT MOWING; 2020 CITY GROUNDS MAINTENANCE; 2020 PARKS, CEMETERY AND DOWNTOWN MOWING AND IRRIGATION will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Agent, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan, on Monday, February 24, 2020, until 9:00 AM. Bids will be publically opened at 10:00 AM.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
City Owned Lot Mowing: The work shall consist of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to mow and remove grass and weeds on approximately 562 City-Owned properties located at various sites within the City of Jackson every 2 to 3 weeks, as necessary.
H4HH Lot Mowing: The work shall consist of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to mow and remove grass and weeds on approximately 253 H4HH properties located at various sites within the City of Jackson every 2 to 3 weeks, as necessary.
City Grounds Maintenance: The work shall consist of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to mow and remove grass and weeds on approximately 904,335 SF of property located at various sites within the City of Jackson every 2 to 3 weeks, as necessary.
Parks, Cemetery And Downtown Mowing And Irrigation: The work shall consist of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to mow and remove grass and weeds on identified City properties located in six wards of the City. Contractor to have five years of commercial mowing and irrigation contract service experience.

Prospective bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 10:00 AM, City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI 49201.
Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents.
