The City of Jackson will receive sealed bids for the 2023 PAVEMENT MARKING project until 10:00:00 AM local time on TUESDAY, JUNE 20, 2023 at the offices of the Purchasing Department, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
APPLICATION OF WATERBORNE PAINT AND COLD PLASTIC FOR REHABILITATOIN OF PAVEMENT MARKINGS THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF JACKSON. MAJOR ITEMS INCLUDE: 600,000 FEET OF LONGITUDINAL WATERBORNE PAVEMENT MARKINGS; 3,650 FEET OF COLD PLASTIC CROSSWALK AND STOP BAR MARKINGS, AND 121 COLD PLASTIC SYMBOL MARKINGS.
Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms from the city’s website at http://www.cityofjackson.org/rfq.
No prebid will be held. Contractor's can direct their questions to Shelly Allard at sallard@cityofjackson.org.
Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents.
Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Pavement Marking (F).
