Sealed proposals for CENTRAL FIRE STATION SITE IMPROVEMENTS will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Agent, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan, TUESDAY, APRIL 6, 2022, 9:00 AM.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities: REPLACEMENT OF APPROXIMATELY 3,000 SQUARE YARDS OF CONCRETE AND HMA PAVEMENT WITH NEW, NON-REINFORCED CONCRETE PAVEMENT INCLUDING AGGREGATE BASE. WORK INCLUDES CURB AND GUTTER, WATER MAIN AND STORM WORK.
Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms from the city’s website at http://www.cityofjackson.org/rfq. Paper copies of the drawings and spec book may be obtained from ABC Reproduction Company, 104 N. Blackstone St., Jackson, MI 49201, (517) 784-2972 or plot@abcreproduction.com for a non-refundable fee of $22.50 for drawings only, spec book additional.
No prebid will be held. Contractor's can direct their questions to Shelly Allard at sallard@cityofjackson.org. Bids are to be submitted via email to sallard@cityofjackson.org.
Original bid documents are to sent via USPS for delivery after the bid opening.
Bids will be opened at 10:00 AM.
Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Streets (A) and Watermain (I).
