All Quotes must be submitted in sealed envelopes and must include the Project Name on the exterior of the envelope. Questions about this invitation to quote should be directed to Kari Kerstetter, Purchasing Coordinator, kkerstetter@cityofjackson.org
- Hazardous materials must be abated in accordance with MIOSHA and DEQ regulations and the attached Pre-Demolition Compliance Survey assessment.
- Compact all clean backfill material with a hoe-pack or vibrating roller compactor.
- Remove _ _2_ curb(s) cut(s) and entry approach(s). (15 lineal feet/each)
- Install ___48 __lineal feet of curb and gutter. Note due to condition of the street, during removal of curb, road will need to be overcut 18-24” to allow for forming of curb and then road hot patched upon completion. See attached photograph
- Remove and replace _35 lineal feet _of cracked, heaved, and broken public sidewalks. (Leave corner sidewalk ramp in place)
- See enclosed water and sewer service records for approximate location and any special instructions for shared services. If no service card is provided it is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure that neighboring water and sewer services are operational at the conclusion of the demolition.
- Trees/shrubs: Remove all small trees S of garage, trim City tree in ROW minimum 12’ above grade, remove all brush, remove pine tree to E and clean any brush or weed from site to allow for full yard installation. Plant 2- 2 ½” Japanese Lilac trees in ROW area and 2 2 ½” caliper maple trees in main yard area.
- Miscellaneous: Remove S half of N shared drive and reduce to single lane approach. Repair any damage to neighbor’s driveway that may occur during alterations. Remove chain link fence. Grade full property to blend with surrounding grades.
