Sealed proposals for Demolition of 212 N. Jackson Street and 224 N. Jackson Street will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Agent, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan, until 10:00 AM, Monday, May 2, 2016.
Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms at the Purchasing Department, 10th Floor, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, Michigan 49201, Telephone (517) 788-4020 or from the City’s website at http://www.cityofjackson.org/rfq.
Prospective Bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10:00 AM, 10th Floor Conference Room, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI 49201. Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents.

CONTRACT DOCUMENTS STATE THAT ALL WORK TO COMMENCE JUNE 6, 2016 WITH FULL PROJECT COMPLETED NO LATER THAN JUNE 17, 2016. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES OF $10,000 PER DAY APPLY IF PROJECT IS NOT COMPLETED BY JUNE 17, 2016.
