Sealed proposals for ENG 22-13 MISCELLANEOUS CONSTRUCTION
will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Agent, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29, 2022 until 9:30 AM
. Bids will be publically opened at 10:30 AM.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities: Water main replacement, drainage improvements with storm sewer construction and sidewalk construction at four separate locations (Durand Street, Morrell Street, Pearl Street and Wildwood Avenue) within the City of Jackson, Jackson County Michigan. Major bid items include: Storm Sewer - 217 ft, Drainage Structure - 15 each, HMA, 13A - 65 ton, Conc Pavt - 355 syd, Curb and Gutter, Conc, Det F4 - 364 ft, Sidewalk, Conc - 3,150 sft, Water Main - 127 ft and associated grading, restoration and traffic control items.
Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms from the city’s website at http://www.cityofjackson.org/rfq. Paper copies of the
drawings and spec book may be obtained from

No prebid will be held. Contractor's can direct their questions to Shelly Allard at sallard@cityofjackson.org.
Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents.
Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Watermain (I).
