The City of Jackson will receive sealed bids for the ENG 23-03 HMA PATCHING project until 09:00:00 AM local time on TUESDAY, MAY 2, 2023 at the offices of the Purchasing Department, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan. Bids will be publicly opened at 10:00:00 AM.
The work includes the following: HMA cold milling and HMA paving to patch sections of failing pavement on the travel lanes on West Avenue between Fourth Street and Griswold Street and on Brown Street between Michigan Avenue and Daniel Road in the City of Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan. Major bid items include: Cold Milling HMA surface - 3615 syds and HMA, 13A - 115 tons.
Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms from the city’s website at http://www.cityofjackson.org/rfq.

Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents.
Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Bituminous (B).
