The City of Jackson will receive sealed bids for the ENG 24-13A NORTH INTERCEPTOR SEWER MAKE READY project until 10:00:00 AM local time on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2024 at the offices of the Purchasing Department, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 8th Floor, Jackson, Michigan.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
INSTALLATION OF A TEMPORARY ACCESS PATH AND PERMANENT GRAVEL ROAD, AND IMPROVEMENTS TO FOUR (4) EXISTING MANHOLE STRUCTURES, TO MAKE READY FOR THE UPCOMING CLEANING AND TELEVISING OF THE 60-INCH INTERCEPTOR LOCATED BETWEEN THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT AND THE MYRTLE LIFT STATION IN THE CITY OF JACKSON, JACKSON COUNTY, MICHIGAN. MAJOR BID ITEMS INCLUDE TIMBER MAT - 1,695 LF, GEOTEXTILE FABRIC - 3,200 SYD, CLEARING AND GRUBBING - 580 LF, AGGREGATE SURFACE CSE, 12 INCH - 760 SYD AND WETLAND RESTORATION - 3,200 SYD.

Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must prequalify for Sewer Shallow (G).
