Sealed proposals for ENG19-04 CDBG STREET RECONSTRUCTION will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Agent, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan, TUESDAY, MARCH 12, 2019 until 9:00:00 AM.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
0.5 miles of street reconstruction including water main, sanitary sewer and full depth pavement replacement with low level decorative street light installation on Homecrest Road from Louis Glick Hwy to VanBuren, on Second Street from Washington to Wildwood and on Steward Avenue from Wildwood to the Railroad in the City of Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan.

Prospective bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2019 at 10:30:00 AM, Purchasing Department, 10th Floor, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI 49201.
Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents.
Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Streets (A) and Water Main (I).
