Sealed proposals for ENG 20-06 WELLWORTH STREET PAVEMENT
RECONSTRUCTION will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Agent, 161 W.
Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan, WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 2020 until 9:00
AM.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
Approximately 0.25 miles of pavement reconstruction on Wellworth Street between Losey
Street and the east dead end in the City of Jackson, Michigan.
Major items include: HMA 13A = 1,250 tons; HMA surface, rem = 3,700 syd; Roadway
Grading, Special = 11.00 sta; Agg Base, 8 inch, 21AA, Modified = 3,950 syd
Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms,
Specifications and Contract Forms from the city’s website at
http://www.cityofjackson.org/rfq.
No prebid will be held. Contractor's can direct their questions to Shelly Allard at
sallard@cityofjackson.org.
Bids are to be submitted via email to sallard@cityofjackson.org. Original bid documents
are to sent via USPS for delivery after the bid opening. Bids will be opened at 10:00 AM.
A Zoom meeting invitation will be sent to the email that has submitted your bid.
Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements
prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Streets (A).
