Sealed proposals for Edgewood Street Water Main Replacement and Street Repaving will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Agent, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan, Friday, June 29, 2018 until 10:30:00 AM.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
0.62 miles of water main and water service replacement and full-depth pavement reconstruction on Edgewood Street from Michigan Avenue to North Street in the City of Jackson, Michigan. Major bid items include: Pavt, Rem, Modified - 11,311 syd, Aggregate Base, 8 inch 11,274 syd, HMA, 13A - 2,797 ton, Sidewalk items - 10,179 syd, Water Main, 8 inch - 2,895 ft, Water Serv - 67 each.

Prospective bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 10:30 AM, Purchasing Department, 10th Floor, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI 49201.
Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents.
Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Streets (A) and Watermain (I)
