Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals for the Jackson Police Department HVAC Replacement will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Agent, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan, until Thursday, April 6, 2017, 9:00 AM.
The project consists of the replacement and removal of existing HVAC components, and the installation of system controllers and a command center to allow internet programming and monitoring of the facility. Equipment replacement shall include but not be limited to air handlers, air condensers, damper motors, freeze stats, mixing valves, thermostats, and related necessary equipment. Vendor shall provide all components and labor (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to complete proposed work. The project shall be divided and priced into four separate sections: Basement and First Floor West, First Floor East, Second Floor, and Radio Room. The existing boiler and ductwork will be used in the design and will not be replaced.
