The City of Jackson is currently inviting qualified consulting firms to submit proposals for architectural and contract administration services required for building improvements to the Boos Recreation Center and for site improvements to the surrounding Loomis Park located at 210 Gilbert Street.  Improvements to the Boos Recreation Center will include a building addition and improvements to the interior and exterior of the existing building.  Improvements to Loomis Park will include construction of a barrier fee access to the Boos Recreation Center building and play structure, picnic pavilion and other site improvements.  This project will be funded by Federal Community Development Block Grant Funds.  Construction will proceed in three phases over a period of three years.  The construction contracts for this project will be let by the City of Jackson.
