2022 RFQP 22-001 Major Street Engineering - RFQP 22-001 Major Street Engineering

The City of Jackson is currently inviting qualitied consulting firms to submit proposals for engineering services required for the construction on three major streets within the City of Jackson.  The work for this professional services contract will be divided into tasks as follows:
Task 1)  On Wildwood Avenue between West Avenue and Steward Avenue, the pavement surface will be removed with a mill and repaved with a new surface course of hot mix asphalt.
Task 2)  On Wisner Street between Wildwood Avenue and Ganson Street, surface will be removed with a mill and repaved with a new surface course of hot mix asphalt with a gap over the railroad.
Task 3)  On Brown Street between Morrell Street and Michigan Avenue:

• the street pavement will be reduced to three twelve-foot lanes with new curb construction on the east side of the street,
•  a ten-foot wide mixed-use non-motorized trail will be constructed of concrete along the east side of the street and
•  The surface of the remaining pavement will be removed with a mill and repaved with a new surface course of hot mix asphalt.
