Description

The City of Jackson is currently inviting qualitied consulting firms to submit proposals for engineering services required for a study of the Napoleon Water Transmission Main from the City’s water treatment plant to the Napoleon Village Water System in Napoleon Township. The distance between the two is approximately 8.9 miles to 9.65 miles depending on route. This project is funded, in large part, by a federal grant administered by the Environmental Protection Agency. The study will determine the route and size of the transmission main by evaluating field conditions in the field, pump capacity at the water treatment plant and permitting and right-of-way acquisition requirements.
