Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals for US-127BR/M-50 (S. Cooper St.) HMA Mill and Overlay will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Agent, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan, until 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 7, 2015. This work shall consist of cold milling the existing HMA surface of B03 of 38083 (S. Cooper St over The Grand River) one and a half (1 ½”) inches and resurfacing the pavement with a one and a half (1 ½) inch overlay of HMA, 5E10, deck patching, and special pavement markings. Dispose of material removed from the surface with the Cold Milling HMA Surface pay item according to Subsections 104.07 and 204.03 of the 2012 Standard Specifications for Construction. Immediately before placing HMA overlay, the pavement surface shall be cleaned according to subsection 501.03C of the 2012 Standard Specifications for Construction.
