Sealed proposals for Uniform Rental and Laundry Service will be received by the City of Jackson Purchasing Agent until 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms at the Purchasing Department, 10th Floor, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, Michigan 49201, Telephone (517) 788-4020. Prospective bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM, 10th Floor Purchasing Department, 161 W. Michigan Avenue. Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents. Bidders will be required to show a State or Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Certificate of Compliance, or demonstrate the existence with standards for equal employment opportunity established by the City of Jackson.
