082020-02 - WATER & SANITARY SEWER RATE STUDY

The City of Lincoln Park is requesting proposals from qualified teams with expertise in water and sewer and financial services to develop a comprehensive water and sanitary sewer cost of service and rate design study. The intent of the study is to independently assess and evaluate the City’s existing water and sewer rates and provide recommendations, potentially including alternative rate methodologies. The broad objective of the study is to adequately fund water and sewer utility operations and maintenance; capital expenditures for system expansion, comply with state mandates, improvement and replacements; asset management; and debt service while minimizing rates to the greatest degree possible.
