REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF NEW LEISURE POOL DECK

Sealed proposals for the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center removal and replacement of New Leisure Pool Deck project will be received by the City of Livonia via the MITN website (www.mitn.info) until 2:00 P.M., Local Time, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at which time the RFB’s will be recorded by the City Clerk. Bid opening results will be conducted via Zoom meeting and posted to the MITN website. Bidders wishing to attend the bid opening via the zoom meeting shall use the following information:

Late bids will not be considered. Instructions to bidders and specifications may be obtained by registering with the Michigan Inter-Governmental Trade Network (MITN) at www.mitn.info. No bidder may withdraw his proposal within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the date set for opening thereof. The right to accept any bid, to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities in bidding is reserved by the City of Livonia. Portions of this Contract may be deleted due to unforeseen circumstances without compensation. Acceptance of any bid does not constitute a binding agreement until a written Contract is signed by both parties.

The City of Livonia will officially distribute bid documents through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of bid documents obtain from any other source are not considered official copies. The City of Livonia cannot guarantee the accuracy of any information not obtained from the MITN website and is not responsible for any errors contained by any information received from alternate sources. Only those vendors who obtain bid documents from the MITN system are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. Important Dates

Project is in conjunction with other work being done in the leisure pool area. This project must be completed between July 21 and August 8, 2025.

Pre- Bid Site Visit: February 19, 2025, at 10 a.m.
Last Day to accept questions: February 28, 2025, by 5 p.m. Response Due Date: Tuesday, March 4, 2025, by 2 p.m.
