Sealed proposals for the will be received VIA THE MITN WEBSITE ONLY(www.mitn.info) by the City of Livonia, Michigan, as owner, until 2:00 P.M. local time, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. The bids will be recorded by the Purchasing Manager and the City Clerk. Bid opening results will be completed via Zoom meeting and posted to the MITN website. Physical bid submission will not be accepted. Late bids will not be considered.

Instructions to bidders and specifications may be obtained by registering with the Michigan Inter-Governmental Trade Network (MITN) at www.MITN.info.

Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the Director of Finance of the City of Livonia. Instructions to Bidders and Specifications for items required may be obtained at the Office of the Director of Finance, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan.

Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposal, as security for the acceptance of the contract. Bid Bonds must be on the Michigan standard form issued by an approved Surety Company.

All addendums will be posted on MITN Website. Any information not obtained from the MITN website should not be relied upon. All bids must be submitted electronically in Adobe Acrobat Format.

The City of Livonia seeks proposals for the following:

The cleaning and resealing of approximately 35,000 lineal feet of joints and cracks using the overband method, 167,000 lineal feet using the hot poured rubber method, 2,000 lineal feet of mastic joint repair on various local and major streets, including 500 lineal feet of using SL1 or equivalent on sidewalks at City Buildings within the City of Livonia.

The bidder shall demonstrate that they have successfully completed projects over the past five (5) years of equal scope in the State of Michigan totaling more than $175,000 per year from 2019 thru 2023 in construction work.

No bidder may withdraw his proposal within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the date set for opening thereof. The City reserves the right to reject any bid or all bids and waive irregularities in bids. Portions of this Contract may be deleted due to unforeseen circumstances without compensation. Acceptance of any bid does not constitute a binding agreement until a written Contract is signed by both parties.
