Proposals for the Denmar Drain Channel Improvement Project will be received by the City of Livonia, Michigan via the MITN website (www.mitn.info) as owner until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at which time said proposals will be opened and publicly read. The bids will be recorded by the Purchasing Manager and the City Clerk. Bid opening results will be completed via Zoom meeting and posted to the MITN website.
The site is open to the public; therefore, a pre-bid meeting is not planned.

The City of Livonia seeks proposals for the following: The project will remove up to 300 ft of concrete overflow channel and restore natural riffles and pools with vegetated banks in the City of Livonia. Flows through an 18-inch storm underdrain shall remain. Site amenities such as fencing, sidewalk, and storm outfalls will also be improved.
All bids must be submitted electronically in Adobe Acrobat Format.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond on the Michigan Standard Form issued by an approved Surety Company.
The Prime Contractor shall demonstrate that they have successfully completed projects in at least five (5) years of equal scope in the State of Michigan totaling more than $300,000 per year.
The project must be fully completed by September 15, 2023, with no onsite work during the week of August 28th due to Hoover Middle School starting.
No bidder may withdraw their proposal within sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for opening thereof. The right to accept any bid, to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities in bidding is reserved by the City of Livonia. Portions of this Contract may be deleted due to unforeseen circumstances without compensation. Acceptance of any bid does not constitute a binding agreement until a written Contract is signed by both parties.
