SILVER VILLAGE OFFICE IMPROVEMENTS

Electronic proposals for the construction of the Silver Village Office Improvements Project must be received by the City of Livonia by 2:00 p.m., Local Time on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, through the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) Purchasing Group site, www.MITN.info , at which time the bids will be opened and reviewed. No physical bid submission will be accepted, and late bids will not be considered.
Bidders are to submit any questions through the bidding portal on the MITN Purchasing Group site by 2:00pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
The Contracts will consist of the following principal items of work and appurtenances as specified herein and shown on the Contract Drawings.
Description of Work
It is an office improvements project, converting an apartment into an office. It consists of removal and replacement work at the existing Main Office located at 33780 Lyndon St. in Livonia, MI.
Plans and Specifications will only be available online at the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) Purchasing Group site, www.MITN.info beginning June 14, 2023. Hard copies of Plans and Specifications will not be available for purchase. The Bidder is advised that in order to submit a bid on this project, the Bidder must download and complete the Proposal Form (Section 00300) and include the required Municipal references and a scanned copy of their bid deposit with their electronic bid submission. The original bid deposit for the low bidder will be required to be submitted to the City following the bid letting.
Proposals submitted by Bidders who have been debarred, suspended, or made ineligible by any Federal Agency will be rejected.
Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, the Architect/Engineer, and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid.
Each bid proposal shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided and shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or bid bond, executed by the bidder and Surety Company, payable to the City of Livonia in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid. Proposal Guarantee shall provide assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of the bid, execute the necessary Contract with the City of Livonia.
All bids shall be opened publicly. Each bid shall be recorded together with the name of the bidder. Bids shall be in accordance with the requirements of this notice in order to be deemed “responsive.”
Bids received via the MITN website by the specified due date and time will be publicly opened at the due date and time via Zoom. Vendors may attend the bid opening virtually by using the following credentials:

No bid may be withdrawn after scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. The right to accept any bid, to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities in bidding is reserved by the City of Livonia. Portions of this Contract may be deleted due to unforeseen circumstances without compensation. Acceptance of any bid does not constitute a binding agreement until a written Contract is signed by both parties.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance, Labor and Material, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bonds.
