CITY OF LIVONIA FIVE (5) YEAR WITH A THREE (3) YEAR OPTION SOLID WASTE PROGRAM
Sealed proposals for the Solid Waste Program will be received by the City of Livonia, Michigan, via MITN until 2:00 p.m. EST, on Tuesday May 21st. At which time the bids will be recorded by the Purchasing Manager and the City Clerk. Bid opening results will be conducted via Zoom and posted on the MITN website. Physical bid submission will not be accepted. Late Bids will not be considered.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on APRIL 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the LIVONIA Department of Public Works, 12973 Farmington Rd, Livonia, 48150. Bids will not be considered from firms not in attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting.

Proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished by the Director of Finance of the City of Livonia. Instructions to Bidders and Specifications for items required may be obtained at the Office of the Director of Finance, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, MI.
Bidders may submit questions in writing to the attention of Gus Kandah, Purchasing Manager at gkandah@Livonia.gov. No phone calls will be accepted.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of $50,000, as security for the acceptance of the contract. Bid Bonds must be on the Michigan standard form issued by an approved Surety Company.

- Assistance with Bulk Leaf Collection Program
- Packer Truck/Driver Rental
- Roll-Off Placements
- Leaf Transfer, Transportation, and Disposal
- Refuse Collection from City Park Facilities
- Special Disposal Needs (Storm Damage Clean-Up & Other Disposal Needs)

- APRIL 25,2024 10:00 a.m. – Mandatory Pre-proposal Meeting at City of Livonia DPW Office.

- MAY 14,2024 – Proposal Due Date. Proposals must be uploaded to the MITN website in Adobe Acrobat PDF Format.
No bidder may withdraw his proposal within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the date set for opening thereof. The right to accept any bid, to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities in bidding is reserved by the City of Livonia. Portions of this Contract may be deleted due to unforeseen circumstances without compensation. Acceptance of any bid does not constitute a binding agreement until a written Contract is signed by both parties.
