A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting to explain the project and answer any questions will be
held on FRIDAY, MARCH 15, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. Prospective bidders should meet in the
Conference Room of the Inspection Department, 33000 Civic Center Drive. Bids will not be
considered from firms who do not attend the mandatory prebid.

Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid security in form of bond the amount of $500.00 as
security for the acceptance of the contract. A Bid Bond in the Michigan standard form issued
by an approved surety company must be submitted. A cashier’s check made payable to the
City of Livonia may be provided in lieu of a bid bond. Vendors shall take a picture of the
cashier’s check and include it with their bid response. Arrangements will be made to secure
the check after the bid due date.
No bidder may withdraw his proposal within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening
thereof. The City reserves the right to reject or accept any or all proposals in whole or in part
and waive any irregularities therein.
