Description

The City of Manistee seeks qualified attorneys or firms to serve as City Attorney and provide other legal services. Pursuant to Section 5-8 of the City Charter, there shall be a City Attorney of the City, appointed by the City Council who shall serve as chief legal advisor to the Council, the Manager, and all City departments, offices, and agencies, shall represent the City in all legal proceedings and shall perform any other duties prescribed by the Council.

For a submission to receive consideration, it must be received prior to the deadline. No late submissions will be accepted. An authorized officer of the Consultant shall sign the Certification and all proposal forms. Proposals must be clearly labeled “CITY ATTORNEY/LEGAL SERVICES RFP”. 

You must submit one complete PDF copy of the proposal via email; and seven (7) hard copies, in a sealed envelope. The cost proposal should be included as a separate digital file when submitted via email and a sealed envelope/folder with the hardcopy.
